Chat Rooms are Dangerous: The Girls and Nobby are Baaaaaccckkk! Update: 9/27 (PG.43)

I am very interested in learning about all the different hidden mickeys... although that one in the HM seems pretty complicated in finding and I was discouraged for a moment LOL
Anyways I am really bad at spotting hidden mickeys in general (I like to blame it on my poor vision!) so I'm excited to be able to spot them on my next trip :goodvibes

I promise I will mix up the variety and post some harder more complicated ones and some really really easy one!!! I caved and went to Books A Million today and bought me a Hidden Mickey book to read on my flight so I will be well educated!

Chapter 6: Do not be fooled by its commonplace appearance. Like so many things, it is not what outside, but what is inside that counts.
-Aladdin

Ahhh yes it really is about what’s inside that counts isn’t!!! So this must mean we are talking park bags LOL and well like any DISer knows it all comes down to the park bag and I think I have found the perfect mix and match of park bags! Paula also has found a bag that she thinks will work perfectly for her and hopefully she will have a picture of it she can post later for your viewing enjoyment. So I’m definitely a two bag girl, I like to have a bag during the day that holds all the things I feel I have to have with me during daylight hours and then a bag at night that I can easily switch too that won’t carry as much stuff but still provide for my needs.

Well my day bag is a backpack, a light blue Eddie Bauer backpack! I can’t believe I don’t have a picture of this and if my camera wasn’t packed away I would get it out and take some shots of it!! But believe me when I say this backpack is magical! It is amazing what I can fit into this backpack and it never feels heavy! The back and straps are padded and it has insulated holders for water bottles! I just love this backpack and when I’m ready to admit to how OCD I truly am I will be more than happy to share with you my packing list just for the backpack!

So what will I carry in the evenings when I don’t want to lug around all my stuff or I just want to carry something a little lighter well it arrived today and I fell in love!!

VeraMailBag.jpg

Oh yes, the Pink Pinwheel Vera Bradley Mailbag is now mine and I adore it!! In January I found the Vera Bradley Hipster and I really liked it but it was too small for what I thought I would need, so when my trip in May came up it was time to find a new bag. Well, Vera didn’t fail me I found a great deal on a cargo sling and I love that bag, but sometimes it seems too big and too bulky and well that defeats the purpose of a lighter evening bag, so it was time to try the Mailbag. I heard lots of good things about this bag and I was able to see one up close in May and I just loved it, so for my Sept/Oct. trip it was time to make the purchase so I found a great deal on Ebay (less than 35.00 with shipping LOL) and today it arrived. I immediately stuffed with my regular purse stuff and it all fit wonderfully and I’m in love. The bag will be going with me on my trips so I can really feel it out, but I think this bag completes the search and the bag saga is now over (for now LOL).

Now Paula, who is not as OCD as I, has settled on one bag and I believe it’s a lime green Baggallini. She will have to divulge more into her bag as I’m not familiar with this brand of bag. However I do know another DISer (TK) has recently purchased a similar bag and after reading her description of it I can honestly say that bag is great for staying organized!

Here is a pic of her bag!!!! Isn’t it lovely!!!

AND NOW ON TO THE COUNTDOWN!!!!

Well fellow Disney fanatics…today July 13th brings our countdown to 75 days!!!! YAY!!!!!

Last time we discussed Hidden Mickeys that could be found in my favorite movie and my favorite ride of all time, so it’s only fair if we do one of Paula’s favorites! So let’s start with Paula’s favorite Disney Movie…

MULAN

So where might you find a Hidden Mickey in Mulan!! Well during the song “A Girl worth Fighting For” do you remember when they make women out of snow! Well next time you are watching that scene take a look at the hairdo on the snowwomen on the far right, definitely a hidden Mickey!!! Isn’t that the coolest thing ever LOL!! I just love these!!

Well if we are going to talk about Mulan it would only seem fitting if we talked about where at WDW you could find Mulan!! Well that place would be in the China Pavilion of EPCOT!

If you were to search for Hidden Mickeys in this pavilion it has been suggested that you should examine very closely the light posts right outside the pavilion and you just might be surprised at what you will discover!!!
So there you have the Hidden Mickeys of Day 75!!!

Well guys, I’m going to be in and out for the next couple of weeks! Prince Phillip and I are going to be heading to Michigan to visit his parents and then we will be making a stop in the Houston/Austin TX area to visit some friends and explore the area. Then we will be home for a couple of days before I head off to Kansas to spend some time with my mom! However I will have internet access at all locations so I will be here to check in and say hi!! I will try to post some pictures from my various vacations. Paula will also have some pictures of an upcoming trip to Hershey so those should be really fun to see!!! I will attempt to update during that time, but if I don’t I apologize and ask that you not leave us, we will be back I promise LOL!!!!!! Until next time!!!

Coming up next: We will talk shoes!

On the Mary Poppins like backpack...its fantastic! You never know what might pop out of it next!!!!

I got a little behind but I am all caught up now! All of your restaurant choices are so yummy!

I totally  the Hidden Mickey countdown! When we went in June my DS had the book and we found a few but not many. I must admit that I am not very good at finding them. I like that it is something the whole family can do together. I love too that you are putting in ones from the movies. We have Disney movie night each week so this will add a new spin to that too!!

Love the VB mailbag. I'm already eyeing the taxi wallet from reading Wigd's TR and now I am going to look at mailbags...thank goodness payday is tomorrow:rolleyes1

74 More Days girls!

I hope you each enjoy your trips! I love Hershey Park, it is very fun. I hear they have a new wavepool with their boardwalk area. I would be curious to see that. HP amazes me with how they add new attractions over old attractions and they never seem to use much more space.

I loved when my DS had band competitions at HP because we always got plenty of park time after that. Probably my favorite non-Disney park. I think I like it better than Busch Gardens!

So.....I love your desciptions of the bags, but I am continually wondering why I am not bag obsessed????? :confused3 Is there something wrong with me that I carry a crappy old draw string back pack into the parks????? I am obviously not fashion forward when it comes to accessories.

Hope one of you will update again soon!

Have fun in Grand Haven. We are trying to plan a long weekend there before the summer is over.

Have fun on your travels ladies!! Jen, I'm originally from Muskegon, just north of Grand Haven! Will you be spending time on MY lake?:cloud9:

The mailbag is super cute, and Paula, I took a Bagallini as my park bag in June and couldn't have been more pleased with how it worked.:thumbsup2

We LOVE Mulan here, so we'll definitely be searching for that HM!
