I have registered and it tells me how many people are in the room but it keeps taking me to the same page!

Ditto what Lisagirly says above ... I've just registered but can't seem to get in .... it keeps taking me back to the first page once I've pressed the 'chat' button!

I have tried loads of times - both tonight and when I registered earlier on today - it keeps taking me to the same page where I have logged in.

I have a ZLID firewall - I have put the chatroom in my safe cookie list - the firewall hasn't prevented me form doing anything yet - I'll try disarming it

I disabled it and still couldn't get in - does the chat room have an ip address so I can add it as a trusted site?

I couldn't get in either.....same problem as the others. I am a technical numbskull and have no idea how to disable my firewall??

Have you tried registering with a different name??

tried a different name and added the ip address as a trusted site but it still won't le me in

what o/s and browsers are you both using??

Also I have a cookie created in my temporary internet files called chat/ once I had registered. Is this also present on your systems??

I don't see any reason whay this would be being blocked by your firewalls, I think it's more likely to be a problem with your browser settings.

If this ends up going nowhere we will probably have to refer it to tech support

Oh d'oh, I think I've just realised why I'm having problems ... I'm in with AOL and I'd forgotten I need to get rid of that for chat...off to try again now! Thanks for your help Alan!!

This is going to sound really dopey but I cant find a folder of temporary internet files

Im on windows xp and using INternet explorer 6.0

I found my temporary internet files - nothing in there as it gets cleared automatically on a daily basis (works computer)

its fixed now!!! It was to do with the cookies but this site was already allowed - anyway I refreshed it and now it allowed me into the chatroon - only with no-one to talk to
