I can't wait to go but do they still have 2 or more characters waiting for you...? Is the line long? How has the process been in your experience?

In January, we saw Minnie and Goofy.
We had about a 10 minute wait.
The line at the camera center for the free photo was so long that we did not end up getting the photo but the photopass photographers had also taken a photo with our camera so all was good.

Thanks I'm so happy you get to meet TWO characters in the photo! Was it easy did you just show them your card and that was it.

We went this past December NYE very crowded and waited about 1/2 an hour. We were greeted with Mickey and Goofy. It can be any of the Fab 5 but every time we have gone it's been Mickey and Goofy.:yay: The picture came out great. A very nice souvenir. Have fun:flower1:

In November we had very little wait on the 2 days that we went. On the first visit we saw Minnie and Pluto. We went again a couple of days later and we saw Mickey, Minnie and Goofy.

We had about a ten minute wait in October, but went within the first hour of opening. We met Minnie and Goofy and Minnie and Pluto. We also skipped getting the free photo because the line was so long. The M&G is awesome though, because we had the room to ourselves and were able to spend a little more time with the characters than we did during other ones.

I've had 1, 2 or 3 members of the fab five in there for us depending on the trip. We have also had no wait, or a 30 minute wait. Depends alot on the other people in line and how much they want to/are able to interact with the characters. I have noticed now that it is open later the line is often shorter.

Have done it many times and seen different combinations of Mickey Minnie and goofy. Would love to come in and see Donald there one time!

I went in September. Right when it opened the line was out of control. We had a princess lunch for I think 1:40 and headed back after we ate around 3? There were 2 families in front of us. We got 2 vouchers because I showed my Disney Visa and the Rewards card. Goofy and Mickey were inside. We got the photos just before closing and the line wasn't too bad, maybe 3 people in front of us but there were at least 3 CMs helping so it went quickly.

We went at the end of January and got to see Mickey and Minnie. We were there when they opened (just happened to be in Innoventions about 20 minutes before 1) so we waited. There was only one person in front of us. We waited 5 minutes for the first family. My only disappointment was that the family behind us (party of 10+) entered while we were still taking pictures - we had only been there about 2 minutes. I felt really rushed. Usually we try and get the kids in and out of Character Meets pretty quickly because we know that there are people waiting but this has always been a spot that you get to interact with them in a less rush manner. I think the family behind knew the Visa/Disney CM so they jumped the gun. Otherwise, it was really fun. Also, if you have two Disney Visa's (I have one & so does DH) so we were able to get two photo vouchers. It is usually worth it.

While waiting in line there will be a CM checking your cards and gave us a little slip of paper that we handed the CM when we reached the front of the line.
I believe they did this to make the the process run smoothly. Especially because it was NYE and very crowded.
When you reach the front of the line right before you enter the room there is another CM there to greet you and that's when you show your slip of paper and then she guides you in. easy peasy.:-)
On a non holiday once you reach the front of the line(which can be very short) that's when the CM will check your card. We have never really waited long at all.

Have a great time

we've been doing it every trip for years now.
our most recent experience was in july of last year.
i'll be doing it again when i go in april.

there has always been 2 characters when we do it.
its usually a combo of mickey/goofy, mickey/pluto, minnie/goofy, or minnie/pluto.
i wish it was a combo of mickey/minnie.

when they used to only do it from 1pm-4pm we had to wait a good 20-30 minutes but in recent visits they expanded it so its from 1pm-7pm i think and we've only had to wait 5 minutes or less.

the experience has always been enjoyable.
i have never felt rushed and the characters interact well.

and i love the free 5x7.

last time we waited until 8pm to pick up the free pic and ended up waiting a good 30 minutes in line so i recommend going earlier to pick it up.
i think you can pick it up any time after 5pm.
when i go in april i have it planned so that i'll do the meet n greet as soon as it starts and then i'll head over to world showcase and then at around 6pm i'll head back over to future world and i hope to be in and out from picking it up in the 5 minutes that it usually takes when we pick it up earlier rather than later.

That is good to know. It always seems to be crowded when we try to go. Maybe I will try after 4:00 and see if it is less crowded.

The first week of February we saw Mickey and Goofy with no wait around 2 pm. Usually there seems to be a long line, this was a big surprise, we actually thought it was closed.
