Chase Visa Cardmember Photo Op - Must Have Card?

Just realized I left my Disney Chase Visa at home. (It's the card I've got linked to my magicband, so I'm still using it throughout my trip.) Anyone know if I can still do the photoshoot? I could perhaps show my Chase card through the app, or my Disney Account where I have the Disney cardholder tag. 🤔

Any insight is appreciated!

I'm not sure, I've only ever seen people show a physical card (myself included). FYI: Characters are temporarily unavailable due to physical distancing. You can still bring your Disney Visa Card the next time you visit Epcot and enjoy a Cardmember-exclusive Disney Magic Shot experience.

We've done this shoot twice at HS -and each time they ask to see the card and they look at it -I'm assuming to verify the expiration date (??) - and since I've always brought it I'm not sure what happens if you don't have the physical card...

sorry - that's all I know!

Ime you need the card. Never tried showing the card on the phone but report back if it works.

I don't have an answer, but would love to hear more about this! What are the special photo opportunities like? I peeked at the card website, but the description of this benefit was pretty vague.

Thanks, all!

And @catsinawindow, I'm not sure what it's like, but JediBonas is reporting it's not currently running, so I'll have to check it out next time! (I thought it might be running because I saw it listed under the attractions on the app, but I totally makes sense that it's not running currently. I don't know what I was thinking - maybe that it would be a distanced shoot like they do at Aulani in the luau maybe? 😂)

I look forward to trying next time (and hopefully I won't forget my card!)

Where is the photo area for Disney Visa cardholders located currently and what are the hours?

I know that currently they would not be doing a character meet & greet photo, due to the Pandemic. But are they doing a Magic Shot or some other kind of photo?

Per the disney rewards site:
"Pose for special photos at our Private Cardmember location. Your complimentary photo downloads will be digitally enhanced with Disney Characters appearing right next to you."
Sounds like no characters in real-life, they just get digitally added later. Not quite the same experience.

In August it was available at the Launch Pad area. No characters, just shots against a wall that looked like the interior of a starcrusier type ship with a window you stood in front of and some StarWars droids appeared in the photos. I am pretty sure there is a still a spot in Epcot, but we did not go there so I don't know what the photo would have been.

On the other end, does anyone know if you need the physical card for discounts in the shops or can you just show it and use Apple Pay on your phone?
