Nothing here yet. I was told it would arrive in about 4 weeks, so I probably still have another 2 weeks to wait.

This thread has made me curious about the Disney Visa - what perks do you get?
The main perk is earning 1% rewards in Disney Dollars and 6 months no interest when booking Disney vacation packages. There are also occasional offers like discounts on Disney products, event tickets, etc. There are currently several special offers for Disney Visa holders when visiting Disneyland for the 50th celebration.

The biggest perk to me is that it's DISNEY. and now with the fun new versions of the card...even better. It looks so fun in my wallet ;) ;)

I was torn between the Castle and Mickey but got the Castle because it said Limited edition underneath. I took it that it would only be available this year and the others would be available in the future. I wonder how many times a year you can change?

Our new cards with "Mickey and Friends" arrived in the mail today!!! :flower:

I'm jealous - we also ordered the "Mickey and Friends". Still waiting for ours.

I ordered the castle card. It took about 4 weeks to get here (yesterday).

We ordered and received the castle cards. My Disney Card gets more comments than any other credit card that I've owned.

I got my Mickey and Friends yesterday. Did anyone else think that they put WAY too much glue on the sticker on the front to call to say you got the card? I've gotten city stickers off of my car window easier than that sticker, and my card is still stickey.

Yes, I thought the same thing after removing the sticker from the front of our cards.

I just got my cards. It took between 2-3 weeks. And I agree, there was WAY too much sticky on them.

I had called the customer service # on the back of my card to try to get different designs for me & DH, but I was told it wasn't possible. So I asked for the castle design, then called the automated # given with the design choices, and selected vintage Mickey for DH. I received the castle last week, and Mickey this week, so we both got one of each! :cheer2:

One strange thing is that there were no stickers on the Mickey cards. At least no sticky mess to deal with on them! ::MickeyMo

Yes, - I got my castle ones last week. I use Un-Do wipes on them. Goof-off would probably work too.

Mickey & Friends came in the mail this weekend. Now DD wants one :rotfl2: !
She's turning 11 soon and thought it would make a great birthday present - NOT! Anyway, gave us a nice chance to discuss money and credit to this burgeoning shopper.

OK - another answer from the 800 number.

I was told - you can't add DVC to your card unless you apply thru the DVC number and THEN I would lose the Day 1 status.

She said the DVC card is a "special" card that allows for the additional imprint line.

Does that sound like a lot of bunk to anyone else?
Can anyone scan in their DVC card (of course, black out the numbers - ha!)

I think I'll keep calling back..................

I was also told that I can't have DVC Member on my card since I did not apply through DVC. The fact is I have had my credit card since 1989 and it has changed Banks so many times it finally changed to Bank One and I then went ahead and changed it to a Disney Visa about a 1 1/2 years ago.

I would love to have it say DVC Member on it...however I am a creature of habit and I now have my card number memorized and really don't want to change that.

What is DAY 1 Status???

Just ordered the castle card yesterday. I actually like the red one too, but the castle one is beautiful.

For those who applied for the card when it was initially offered, our cards say Member Since DAY 1 to (expiration date) and under our names it says Charter Member.

I have also called and asked if we can get DVC Member instead of Charter Member (since we already have Day 1) and was told my request would be forwarded to the marketing department. I'll let ya know if it ever comes through.

We've already received 10 new Chase cards - 2 sets of castle, 2 sets of Mickey, and a new red card. No, we didn't ask for that many, they just appeared in our mailbox.

I too was told that I could get both Day 1 and DVC Member on my card when I ordered the new design. I was very disappointed when I recieved my card yesterday and it still said Charter Cardmember. However, I guess I would rather have Day 1. I'm going to keep trying though!!! :earboy2:
