Back in April, I went into Chase to cash a check. I was approached by a CSR who wanted to "help" (ie upsell!). I agreed to upgrade my 1 point per dollar Chase rewards (free)to 4 points per dollar ($25/year). Am I ever glad I did! I just got a $50 ToysRUs gift card (going toward DD's bike that she wants so badly) and a $50 American Eagle gift card (for DS who loves skinny jeans and hoodies) and my balance is already back up to 5500 points. I use my card for everything, so I'm swiping it as credit now instead of debit and I am thrilled at how my points are adding up so quickly. So for a $25 investment, I just got $100 towards Christmas for my kids.
On a related note, I also got SkullCandy earbuds for DS off of the MyCokeRewards site. It's a bit more of a pain to enter codes there, but so worth it. I'm the only one working right now, DH is in school (was an autoworker) so this has helped so much---getting rewarded for things I buy/use anyway!
