Chase buying Bank One...what will this mean for us DV holders?

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. has agreed to buy Bank One Corp. for about $58 billion in a merger that will combine two of the biggest banks in the United States, the companies announced Wednesday.

What do you think will change for all of us who hold a Bank One Disney Visa?

I was wondering the same thing. Will I now get a Chase card with Member from Day 1 on it? Will Disney still have the arrangement with the bank for the Disney themed card? I bank at Bank One and have Disney checks. Will I have to get new checks? I guess we will find out eventually.

Maybe they will all work out a better reward deal.

Years back Chase took over Chemical bank...I do 99 percent of my banking online so I don't write many checks...but I STILL have checks on them that say Chemical bank and still use them so you shouldn't have to get new ones....

Yes, years ago Wachovia bought First Union. My checks still say First Union and haven't had a problem...
