If you have ever arranged a charter flight for a school group, would you mind telling me which you used. We are looking to get a group of 50-60 from floria, mYbe Jacksonville airport, to New York City in March.
I agree with the above poster. Probably much cheaper than chartering an entire plane. Here is a place where you can estimate costs (I know nothing about this company; this is just a way to get some idea of the expense):
I agree with PP. I flew to England with the choir/orchestra and my children have flown to Florida with both the band and choir. All trips were booked on a regular airline. I don't remember which airline we flew to England but know the kids flew Southwest. The students had no trouble sitting next to at least one friend, even those that had a "c" boarding pass.
