I had an unexpected delay out of LAX a couple weeks ago, and after checking my suitcase I jumped on a shuttle to DL. I arrived already exhausted and sweaty, carrying two heavy bags. The CM at bag check called over another CM to walk me to the lockers; she was friendly and helpful, and very kindly helped me figure out how to use the lockers. She then walked me back through security so I didn't have to wait a second time, and made sure I had everything I needed before waving goodbye.
Later in the day, I needed advice about a shuttle back to LAX, so I talked to the CM at the info booth near the castle. She was also a frequent traveller, and knew all the best tips. And she also made a big point of making sure I had everything I needed before I headed off.
This friendliness can make a big difference. I knew when I hopped on that shuttle from LAX that I'd find people who could help me figure out where to stash bags, and when/how to get back to LAX and not miss my flight. And I knew they'd be kind and helpful. It was wonderful to have a little bit of unexpected Disney magic that day. For a couple hours, I got to feel like a princess.
