Charm bracelets...

Hello Fellow Budgetears!

I was thinking of starting a nice bead/charm bracelet for myself. There are several brands out there. What kind to you have? Does one mix beads?

I have 3 different kinds of bead bracelets. I have Pandora, Chamilia and Troll brand beads/bracelets. Troll bracelets are my favorite. I have several full Troll bracelets - in different color schemes. I prefer their bracelets and clasps to Pandora and Chamilia bracelets. Their bracelets and clasps are two separate pieces, and the clasps come in beautiful designs. I also think the Troll silver and glass beads are prettier than the Pandora and Chamilia beads. I had to have a Chamilia bracelet because they are the only company to make Disney beads, which I love. I just recently bought my first Pandora bracelet. I think it is my least favorite of all my bracelets. I chose to just go with a silver beads for it, so maybe that's why I don't like it as much. Troll beads will not fit on Chamilia or Pandora bracelets. Chamilia and Pandora are interchangeable with each other, and they will also fit on Troll bracelets. Hope this helps.

Pandora, Camallia & Troll Beads are the main ones. Troll Beads will not fit the other 2. I get some beads from Pugster.com & QVC has a new line of beads that are very cool. That is where I would start. i know camilla has buy 2 beads get a bracelet free a couple times a year.

DD has a Troll bracelet. She can fit Pandora bracelets on it also, so I think it's the best way to go. You aren't "stuck" with one company's beads. You have more to choose from.

Oh, my. I know I would definitely want Disney beads...that is a huge part of my life!

I am turning 40 on Friday and I am so excited. I thought of starting a bracelet for myself to celebrate and to commemorate special events in my life. We are going to WDW in March for my 40th BD celebration and I would NEED Disney beads!

I've got a Camilla bracelet and I love it! I started mine at disney but I had to get the bracelet when we got home. Disney only has 2 size bracelets that I could find on property and they were all too small. So I suggest you get a bracelet before you go to alleviate that problem. My sil has a pandora and my mil has a troll. The Camilla and Pandora will fit on a troll but mom's trolls won't fit on ours.

I received a Chamilia bracelet for Christmas and I love it!! I really like their huge selection of beads...plus the Disney ones!! I would look up each brand online and take a look at their bracelets and beads...and then go from there....

I have a Pandora and Brighton but love the Pandora! I have a few of the Pandora beads but I also put the Brighton beads on it. I looked at the Chamilla & Troll but not many places around me sell those so it was Pandora for me!

I have had a pandora for so many years now, before they were popular. I started with a necklace and LOVE IT...LOVE IT...LOVE IT. I also have the Pandora bracelet and bangle bracelet. I also had some chamilla beads on it as well as they interchange. Now that EVERYONE has them I wear my necklace more often as you don't see too many with the necklace. I must say that I had to stop buying the charms/beads as it's addicting and all my bracelets and my necklace are full. I made sure to buy the secure chain for all my pieces. You will enjoy whatever you decide on getting I'm sure. Wear it in good health.

I have a Pandora bracelet - have had it for probably at least 7 years now. I really like it and the quality of the Pandora beads is great. However, the price of the beads is starting to climb (went from $15 to about $30 each) and the cost of the gold ones can get prohibitive. That said, I really like my Pandora. I have a few of the chamilla beads and I don't know if they match the quality IMO.

I love my Pandora bracelets. The first one took me about 2 years to fill, but that's ok - if you add it up mine's probably valued over $600 (it's all depends on what type of beads you want) - but spread out over 2 years doesn't seem so bad I've now started my second bracelet and it's about 1/3 full. I love the look of wearing them together.

Does anyone have the braided leather Pandora bracelets? I really like them but I don't know how they will look with the beads.

Okay, I treated myself to the Troll bracelet and clasp and picked up three beads--my birthstone, a silver lucky knot and pretty prism bead. My kids went back into the store after I left so I will probably get another for my birthday on Friday.

I decided to go with troll since I can use any bead on it. that way if the kids buy me one, they don't have to worry about which brand it is and can just pick up what they like.

the store had a special: spend $150 on Troll and get a $28 credit toward a new bead. With tax I spent a total of $168.
