Does WDW sell Charms for Charm bracelets? If so, what kind-silver/gold/real/fake, how much and where? I had wondered about getting matching bracelets for my DD and myself:cutie:. Maybe I could buy the bracelet before we go? Do they ever sell starters, like maybe bracelet and single charm?

WDW has both traditional charms in real metal, and cheaper versions, and they sell the more modern Italian charm bracelets (expensive and cheap versions). I don't recall if they sold traditional charm bracelets or not.

They were found everywhere they sold jewellery. The good stuff would be under class, and the rest was hanging up with the other jewellry.

They definitely sell charms. I get one each trip! I started out collecting silver charms and have "graduated" to gold. I do miss being able to buy a charm or $15, though! We bought a neat 3-D Mickey hat charm for something like $80 last time we were there (that's a very rough memory of the price). They have choices all the way up to the castle or the carriage for hundreds.

The best choices seem to be at the World of Disney store. I had assumed the jewelry store on Main Street USA would have the largest selection, but WOD did.

I remember my dd spending so much time at the value resort, charm and braclet area. for $44 I bought silver braclet, and many charms, at least 6 or so, Ariel. tigger, crown, It is a beauty. I think it may have had one charm on to start or the closure was something Disney.

She also had fun getting pins, but did not want to trade..... the braclet she cherishes.

I don't know the age of your daughter and if you are looking for quality jewelry for her, but the cheaper charms are so abundant all over the world. There are charms of several of the characters, castles, glass slippers, etc. Then, each resort will have a charm for that resort as well as the parks. I have purchased the more expensive charms and have many of the cheaper ones also. I think I probably have one from most of the resorts and parks....happy collecting!

I started with a cheaper version (from the resorts) and I buy a charm for it each time. It's cheap and the charms are really cute and pretty (some with glitter, colored...etc). The bracelet is silver as are most of the charms (although as I said...some have colors or glitter stuff on them). I liked the ones at DTD as well, but for now I'm doing the cheap ones so I can buy 1 or 2 charms a year and it doesn't break the bank :) and I can wear it on vacation and not worry about losing a charm.

my step daughter LOVED the "bracelet and Necklace charms" area at Animal Kingdom Lodge...and pretty much every store we went into! They aren't pricey at all, and honestly, a great start into jewelry for younger girls. If they lose the bracelet or one of the charms it's not a huge loss.

There are tons of different kinds of charms. It's a lot of fun. We left with Minnie playing soccer charm and an AKL charm and a sparkley Minnie head and a few others.

Have fun with it!!!:goodvibes
