We are driving to WDW and staying a night in Bird in Paradise, PA. We are then planning on driving to Charlotte, NC and spending the night there. Any suggestions on places to stay would be great. Thank you.

The Omni is good unless you're looking just for a place to sleep, then it might be more than you want to spend. But lots of places to eat near there and it's a very pretty and small downtown. Other than that, I'd stay away from the airport area.

Staying outside of the city is a little cheaper. There are some great hotels in Huntersville and in Mooresville. They are a little north of the city, but it is a little cheaper than staying within the City.

If you are a NASCAR fan there are some of the team race shops you are open to the public in that area as well.

I have stayed in both areas and also the University section of the city...all are good areas and would rather stay there than in the city because of price.

Thank you for the replies. We thought we would like to try to stay where we will be able to get back on road. I will check out all of the suggestions.

Go through Charlotte on I-77 and go over the border to SC. Rock Hill is just about 12 miles or so south and there are a few decent hotels right off 77 there. You want the Dave Lyle Blvd. exit. There's a Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn and a few more.
