Heard about this site for donations on TV and posted on Community Board... But then realized that all of our DVC neighbors might want to help, too!

It includes the HUMANE SOCIETY for all of the poor injured or lost animals!

Here's another site for animal help - the Emergency Animal Rescue Service. http://www.uan.org/ears/

This service goes to all major disasters and relies heavily on trained volunteers. Read about it in Terri Crisp's Emergency Animal Rescue Stories and Out of Harm's Way - but warning - you WILL cry.

I love animals as well, but I think the "people" of Florida need our help first.

Shouldn't need to differentiate between the species - there's enough goodwill and charity out there to help our people AND our animal friends.

I agree with that 100%, I want to help both. Hopefully most of the people that lost their homes and belongings had insurance and will be able to recover and start again, but I don't know too many animals that have policies.
