Hi
I've just returned from a 4 day trip to DLP and had a great time. The Christmas lights and parade was amazing.
But had an unpleasant experience on arrival at CDG. We flew Easyjet into Terminal 3 (was called terminal 9) and had to catch a shuttle to Terminal to get the VEA shuttle to DLP.
There were nine of us and with trying to get everyone on the shuttle and our luggage, I didn't notice that my handbag (which was on my right shoulder) had been opened. All I heard was my dad yelling to a girl "don't do it!" He had grabbed hold of the girl's hand which was making it's way into my bag.
There were 3 arab looking girls two were behind me and one was on the shuttle in next to me. They walked off when they were found out, but this gave us all a fright. They were targeting people with children and were too busy trying to get on the bus.
Later I spoke to another couple at the airport who had a 7 year old and a 2 year old. She told me she was getting into the airport lift and she had her bag strapped across in front of her. She got into the lift with one of her kids and one of the girls (3 again - I think the same girls) blocked her husband's way and two of the girls tried to fumble with her bag, she noticed this and yelled at them to stop and one of the girls spat in her face then they walked off - casually!!
So please be warned - I had not expected pickpockets on the shuttles at the airport and if my dad hadn't been behind me then our holiday would have been ruined!!
