Charging to your room

We are staying at Disneyland hotel this week. We are very excited to not have to bring our credit cards and only limited cash in to the park and just charge to our room. That being said, I've seen people say that "most" places will charge to your room. I understand the carts won't, that's fine, but we will be eating mostly counter service places not table. Skewers at Bengal, dole whips, beignets at mint julep. Does anyone know if they charge? Does cozy cone over in cars land? I really want to limit what I'm bringing in as much as possible.

You can charge almost everywhere now. Anywhere that takes credit cards takes the room keys...and that includes almost every cart now that is in a fixed location. The only places that do not accept room charges are the walk around vendors like the balloons and snacks around shows, Ghirardelli Chocolate in DCA, one of the glass shops on Main Street and possibly Pandora in NOS.

In DTD, none of the non Disney owned stores take the room charges.

Thank you that puts my mind to rest! I'm guessing starbucks inside Disney doesn't either. Also not a big deal, lots of other coffee there.

Starbucks should, as they are run by Disney, not Starbucks Corp.

Starbucks in DL and DCA do take the room keys, Starbucks in DTD does not.

DTD is Starbucks Corp., that means they will also accept the lucky dozen & other SBs rewards.

You may know this already but bring your ID too. I had to show that to charge to the room, every time. I kept both my room key and my id together so it was no issue

Ditto the previous PP about remembering ID! I found they asked for my ID everywhere no matter what form of payment (room card or credit card) though so I made sure to always have it on me!

The popcorn cart couldn't take a gift card. I don't know what that means about room keys, but I assumed since they had a terminal for credit cards they could and they told me no.

Since I have to bring room key, ID, and AP, I usually just bring a credit card too, just in case.

Yep. I'm just not that big a fan of charging to the room.
