If I give our guests charging rights, are the charges itemized by which magic band was used? I'm just wondering if that's an option - to settle at the end rather than as we go.

I read somewhere that you can link different credit cards to individual magic bands but it didn't work so well. Can anyone tell me if this was straighten out? That, of course, would be the best scenario.

Thanks!

Yes, you will be able to tell which MB made each purchase. That said, since they began allowing it we have had absolutely no problems linking different credit cards to different bands.

Thanks for your reply. I'm so happy that you've successfully linked separate credit cards to the magic bands. I kept reading instances where it just didn't work out and all the charges went on the credit card that the reservation was on. I figured they just needed to work out the kinks!

We took a trip this past Christmas and stayed at Kidani. My father was with us. We put a cc on our band and my father put his cc on his band. Upon checking out ALL charges were put on my credit card. They had to issue my card a refund and charge his. It was an easy solution but took 4 days for refund to show up on our card.Good luck and have fun!!!

Thanks, ejsteg. I read a bunch of stories like yours. If each charge is labeled by who charged it, I suppose that's not too bad to settle up at the end. We'll probably try it, but I'll make sure to verify charges prior to check out. Thanks for sharing!

I question what happened based on what you wrote here. You can't put a CC "on a band", you can only attach a CC to your My Disney Experience account. Depending on which bands a given account manages, ALL those bands will have charging privileges (unless you specifically turn that off) and will use the CC on that account.

I think one of the problems of MyMagic+ is the terminology used. Nothing "goes on the bands". The bands are simply references to a specific My Disney Experience account.

We linked three different cards to three of the four bands on our recent trip in February and guess what, all the charges were charged to one of the three cards. Took about 20 minutes for Disney to reverse the charge on my card and process the correct charges to each of the cards.

Disney seriously needs to get their act together, this is a fundamentally simple concept.

How exactly did you "link three different cards to three of the four bands"? What were the steps you used to do that?
