We are using someone else's DVC points to stay at SSR. Am I able to still charge stuff with my room key? TIA!

Yes, it works the same as a cash reservation. You will receive all the normal "on-site" amenities. The biggest difference with DVC is the limited housekeeping.

Yes, if you put a credit card on record when you check in.

Yes, as long as you give the Front Desk a credit card, you may charge to your room.

Only one credit card per room though. In the past my BIL has stayed with us and we usually have his KTTW card labeled as no charging allowed since our credit card is on file. He just uses a separate credit card when making charges. That way we don't have to settle up the bill with each other on check out.

Thanks everyone. What is the charging limit before it resets?

Each room key is coded and the charges made by each card are listed separately on your room folio.

Before you hit the $1500 limit, you can go to the front desk and each member of your party can pay separately for their room charges.

:) Bill

I'm not staying with the owner, so no need to divvy up charges, etc. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that. :)
