Charged cancellation fee for dining even though we showed up

I just checked my credit card from our previous visit and noticed that they charged me $60 for one of my dining reservations (6 in our party), however, we went to every dining reservation we made???

I tried calling dining and they were no help, said they couldn't tell what happened...now I am on hold with another person.

Has anyone had this happen?
 
Yes, I just saw this on my statement and called them about it. I also saved my receipts and printout from checkout. But still got charged. Had to be transferred to someone else to resolve it.
 
Wow, I wonder how many people this has happened to that have not noticed. I will for sure be checking all of my stuff and keeping all my receipts when we go.
 
That's not encouraging. I dont keep a check book. I would never notice. I occasionally visit my account online, maybe every 2 weeks. I guess on our June trip, I will watch it like a hawk. Last June, we cancelled at midnight the night before Le Cellier, and I did check often to see is I was going to get charged, since it was like a 12 hour notice. But I did not get charged for the late notice.

Yes, this happens once in awhile. I usually recommend that you keep an eye on your credit card statements whether you go to your meals or not, and save receipts.
 
If you still can't work out a solution with Disney, contact your credit card company. I am sure they will be able to help you there!
