Charge to Split?

Wondering if restaurants charge to split a meal. We'll be doing T-Rex and some others, and some of the food looks like it's way too much for me to eat alone. Anyone know? Guessing it varies by place? Splitting with hubby would be my preferred dining plan.

In the past when we've split, there has been no charge except of course the second person's beverage.

We always tip higher, of course, since the bill is lower than it normally would be for two, but there has never been an upfront charge for splitting plates, and often we even receive the dinner already split by the kitchen onto two seperate plates.

The only current place that charges a splitting fee is Shula's. For all other places, it's free and very easy to do.

We split all of the time, even at most CS. We prefer to eat lighter & save room for all of those tasty WDW snacks between meals. Never had a problem or was charged extra. At TS locations, sometimes they split it in the kitchen, other times they will bring you the extra plate. At CS, just ask for the extra plate when you order or pick up your food.
