Charge Room Service tip?

I know they include a tip on your account for "purchased" items, is there any way to charge a tip for "free" items to your account? I want to bring as little money as possible, and may use room service a lot or a little, either way would rather have it on our account

We actually ran out of small bills at one time and charged the Tip for room serice. We were told to ask them for the slip when they deliver.

there is no charge to your account for free room service items... tipping room service is your choice,,,, you can charge it to your account, pay them yourself, or not at all. We tipped a small amount directly to the delivery person.

I saw the other thread and I know they would prefer that it be in cash, and we will probably bring cash for that purpose but rather than bring a whole bunch of ones and then not need as much as we thought, I figured it would be easier to bring some and if we use it more than we can still tip on our account. Just trying to bring as little cash aboard as possible. Thanks for the replies, now that I know it is possible, I will just bring about $20 in ones for this and know that I can use room service even if we run out!

Everytime we cruise I bring 25 one dollar bills. Stick in our safe for tipping only. Each morning we get coffee, juice etc and I give two dollar. If they have to bring us more food, like a late afternoon snack I still give 2 dollars.
