Hello,

I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I just noticed a $1600 charge from the Poly from our last day. I have absolutely no idea where this could be from. We never charged anything to the room. We went through a travel agent and this was a split stay. We had a package with tickets and room with CSR and the a room only with the Poly. I am beyond moritified and not sure who to contact about this. Do I call Disney direct?

We had a split stay and used magic bands with a pin to pay for everything. We thought the same card would be linked for both stays, but our purchases with our magic bands starting at the time we were at the Poly went to our Disney visa and not our debit card. So, just a misunderstanding on our end. Either way, the issue would have been taken care of had I checked our finances while we were at the Poly for a week. I would have seen that our debit card was not being charged. Also, had we gotten our charges before I left we would have known. So, all is well. It was us, lol.

Glad it was straightened out. For those reading along, your credit card or debit card is not charged every single time you make a charge on your magic band. Each resort level has a spending limit and when that limit is met, that total amount is charged to your card as one charge and then your charging privileges start over and you go back to a balance of zero. If you don't meet the max amount while you're there, whatever amount of room charges you have at midnight before the day you check out (I believe) is charged to your card on file.

Wow good to know in advance I was going to have my green dot card linked to my MB for convienience (sp) but after reading this I well just use my card the old fashioned way that way I always know where I stand

A green dot card is a prepaid credit card I was going to have my snacks changed to that as opposed to my parents cc even though they are paying for both rooms
