Charge for infant (2yo) at buffets?

Will the Disney buffets, (Trails End) charge 6.99 for a 2-yo? Granted, he eats more than his 5-yo brother (!) but since entry to MK is free for 2-yo wondering about food.......

i believe the age for "charging" is 3 and above.

The charges start at 3, just like the parks.

I concur, no charge. And my (almost) 2 year old was the same- he would eat more than his 5 year old brother at the buffets!

Buffets are a deal for 2 year olds! We've been when my 1st DD was 18 months, again when she was 2 1/2 and her sister was 8 months and eating table food, and again with her at age 4 with her 2 year old sister and 10 month old brother who was also eating table food....You are never charged at a buffet or pre-plated style meal (CRT breakfast, Epcot PRincess breakfast., etc).

If you order food from a regular menu/kids menu, you are charged accordingly (fair enough!).

Enjoy...a little bargain at WDW.

It really is a good deal for those little one who are hearty eaters. My DS is only 13 months right now and boy can he eat. By the time he is 18 months old when we go I can only imagine how well he might eat. He is still on the small side so he must burn an amazing number of calories to keep up with how much he eats!

I loved when my kids were under 3 and we ate at the buffets. It was such a good deal! Plus when they were younger we always did Child - Split meals at sit down restaurants. They would only charge one kids meal price but bring two drinks, split the plate including fries and all. It really looked like they the full amount actually. They also gave us 2 of whatever type of dessert or cookie that came with it. Great for the smaller children. Now mine are too big to do this! Boy has Disney gotten more expensive!!! LOL!
