charge accounts?

My father & mother in law are sharing a room with my sister in law. Can they seperate the charges to the room by giving 2 different credit card numbers? One would be for the MIL & FIL charges and the other for all of SIL charges.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the credit card will be assigned to the cabin number, not the individual. However, the bill will be itemized so they'll be able to see what each person bought with his/her KTTW card. It will be easy to reimburse the other person.

That's a very good question. I don't see why not since you can settle the bill at Guest Services before you leave. Since you can use cash, Disney dollars, credit cards, travelers checks, etc... for all or part of your bill, I wouldn't see why they couldn't split the bill and charge each card accordingly. I'll be interested to see if anyone knows this answer for sure.

Unless they've changed since last September....

Each person has the option of filling out a charge account form, which will be with your cruise docs. You can charge everything for a room to one card, or split it up. That is one of the items they enter into their system before they create your KTTW card.

DCL is one of the few places with Disney that you can assign a different credit card with each room key.
Also, you can pay by cash, check or Disney Dollars at guest services. I believe you can also pay with foreign currency at the current exchange rate on board (correct me if I'm wrong on that note).
I usually get a copy of my room charges every couple of days so I know how much I've spent. If there are any problems I can solve them right away and I'm not standing in the long line the last night of the cruise; just scrambling in my room trying to pack, since I have bought too much.

You can most certainly assign a different charge card to each person. Also, the statements will print out with sub headings of everyone's charges under their own names so you know exactly who charged what.
