Does anyone know what the cost for characters is for 2006. The wish book says like $1,070 but I'm wondering if that hasn't been updated. If my DH knew I was even considering spending $1K on Mickey & Minnie, he'd shoot me. Then no need for a VR I guess!

Anyway, does anyone know for sure the cost? And, anyone recommend yay--great experience, definitely do it or nay--not worth the money?

Tends to put the breaks on quickly!! But tell him "hey, how many times do you get a total 1/2 hr with Mickey and Minnie!"

Alice and the Mad Hatter showed up to my bridal tea. Photos are in the post with the "Official photos (with link)" posting. I really enjoyed them there! Then again, I had no idea what the cost was. When I jokingly said to DH the other day (he was watching a MK video while on the treadmill), "How come the White Rabbit didn't show up?" He said, "Becuase he was another $750."

For one of the young girls there, she was so thrilled she got to spend one-on-one time with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Not too many people can meet them personally.

We are not traditionalists when it comes to having Mickey and Minnie at our wedding. .. My DF loves Stitch and I love Eeyore and Goofy... we're going to have to make some decisions... I know when they're not from the same them, they can't come into the room together... argh... thankfully, I have LOTS of time to think about it.

We are traditional as well but we LOVE stitich so we are having Mickey and Stitch come.

Hey there
I didn't think my husband would go for spending $1000 on Mickey & Minnie either, so heres what I did.
I tricked him into it!
I had him watch some of the STVS videos online (the ones with Mickey & Minnie)..........then I asked him if he wanted to have them.
He said he couldn't picture the wedding without them after seeing the videos!
My husband doesn't really like Mickey & Minnie but he loves Disney.........so I was amazed when he said he wanted them there.
I don't regret paying it at all. The pictures looked amazing.
It is worth it!

I LOVE STITCH!
Oh well...guess it will have to wait for my vow renewal in 2010!
