Characters signing things

Hopefully someone here will know the answer because google is not helping. Does anyone know if Mickey Mouse will write a small note for you or if he only signs his name.

"Your pal, Mickey Mouse" is what he will sign. I don't think he can do more.

About 3 years ago I had drawn Mickey and his friends as Christmas Carolers. It was a very elaborate drawing. Mickey loved it.

I was stunned when he added "Happy Holidays!" to the usual "your pal, Mickey Mouse." That was the first and only time I have seen him do this.

It is difficult for the CMs to write or sign things while wearing the large costume hands. Asking the character to write a note is asking a lot. And if there is a long line of guests behind you, the handlers will try to keep the line moving at a reasonable pace. So a character usually won't be able to spend an unusually long time, e.g. the amount of time it might take to write out a small note, with any one guest unless there are exceptional circumstances. If there are exceptional circumstances, try checking with City Hall beforehand to see what can be done.
