Characters Out of Their Element

On our first-ever trip last year, we rode POTC and then bought our DS a sword in the shop. It was September and pretty empty at the parks and this was very early. So we exited the shop and there, by himself and nobody around, was Peter Pan. He asked my son, "Did you see Captain Hook in there?" and then they played with the sword and ran around, yelling and screaming their heads off and saying stuff like, "Yuck, girls!" to my DD, 12, who was loving it. This went on for like 7 minutes and we captured it on DVD, it is priceless. Plus, this was our first day in the park after saving for years, so I was crying like a baby at this special moment....but then we had so many after that! It was a priceless trip that was worth the years of waiting!

When we were on character quests a few years ago my son wanted a Peter Pan autograph. We waited in line for him near Pirates and when it was our turn there was noone behind us. Peter spent about 5 minutes telling my son a story. My kid just stared at him with a weird look on his face. After he was done he came back to us and said "Peter Pan is weird"

I went to Disney two weeks ago here's what happened:

I was in MGM and Chip, Dale and Clarisse were there. Clarisse was wearing her "summer outfit", which was really pretty. So I told Clarisse her dress was pretty and she was all happy. Chip started "flirting" with her, and Dale looked left out. So, I walked up to Dale and said, "I'll stick with Dale." It was really funny. He was acting all happy.

Goofy grabbed my DD7 a couple of years ago and pulled her on the Barnstormer with him. She couldn't talk about anything else all week. (It was not the first ride of the day, but shortly after Toontown opening. ) My DH didn't get any pictures, but I did get it on video.

She also rode the carousel with Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins grabbed her hand and skipped all around Fantasyland with her. She really loves Mary Poppins.
