I've done a search, but the results didn't answer my question. Are there ANY characters on a 3 day cruise. No character meals, but does Mickey, Goofy, ANYONE walk around? It seems to me that I've seen pictures of Goofy doing exercises on the ship in commercials.

Thanks, my DH said that he can't imagine that we'll be doing a Disney Cruise and not see any characters.

There are many characters on a 3 day cruise. Also many photo opportunities in the atrium with the ships photographers. Hope this helps!!!

Yes, I don't know where I got the idea that there weren't but I did think that.

There is also a character b'fast at Parrot Cay - this was on Thursday morning with Capt. Hook, Minnie Mouse and Chip and Dale when we went. It was great and not too crowded! ENJOY!

So, MB MinnieGirl, as soon as we board the ship we should go to Parrot Cay and there's food already???

Yes you can eat at Parrot Cay when you board, depending on what time it is. They serve a lunch from about 12 -2. Not sure on exact time. But MinnieGirl is thinking of the character breakfast on Thursday morning on the 7 night cruise. We just did the 7 night in May and I thought the breaskfast was extrememly crowded and rushed. They wouldn't even let the characters sign my kids' scrapbook/autograph page.

We will be on a 3 night next time. There are plenty of times and chances to see the characters. Sometimes you have to wait in longer lines than other times though. They are always out before dinner doing professional pics with the characters. Have fun!

:( So sorry - had my days mixed up this morning.

On the 3 day cruise - it is on FRIDAY morning in Parrot Cay and we didn't need reservations. It wasn't too crowded when we ate and there was lots of interaction with the characters. We had photos and autographs that morning - it was great! Hope that helps - Sorry for the day mix up....:teeth:

Thank you for the replies. It wouldn't have been the extra breakfast we eat on Thursday that ruins our diet, but it's better this way. It was the fear that we wouldn't have chances to see characters that prompted this thread. We're DVC'ers and some are disappointed that there aren't a wealth of characters at HH or VB, we're fine with that, but on the cruise, we do want to see them.

It isn't billed as a character breakfast (at least not on the four day - when several characters were at Parrot Cay for breakfast on Monday) but that was what it was. A chance to see the characters in a fairly informal setting. They are also on Castaway Cay. We saw Alice and a few others in Parrot Cay at the boarding buffet as well.

Most character greets are kind of crowded - especially the princesses and Mickey - and rather theme parky - you queue up in lines and take your turn having your photo taken. But we "ran into" Pluto by the pool while everyone else was at Castaway Cay - there were maybe six kids in the pool and those six had Pluto to themselves.

Your navigators will have a few listed - those tend to be crowded, plus a phone number. And by guest services there is a sign listing the scheduled appearences. The appearences listed or available by phone that aren't listed in the Navigators tend to be much less crowded.

So does the Wonder have Characters at breakfast in Parrot Cay on Monday on the four day cruise? Just wondered. We will be on the July 4th cruise and my nephew loves Captain Hook.

Also, can you eat breakfast in any dining room or is it assigned as it is at dinner?
