Does anyone know if it has had it's soft opening yet?
Are there any pictures taken from it or reviews from someone who has actually been on it?

If so how far can you see, what Disney parks can you see?

I'm keen to give it a go in November but I'd like to know just how much of Disney you can actually see from the top.
Does the viewing plateform rotate so everyone gets to see all the way around?

so many questions..:rolleyes1

Thanks, answered all my questions in 2 minutes, must be a new dis record. :goodvibes

Thanks for posting this - as I thought it is exactly the same as the one in Disneyland Paris (with different views!) which we have been on a couple of times and surprisingly the WDW is more expensive! We will still ride this next month, no doubt - the aerial photos are amazing.

We've been up in the balloon (operated by the same company) at Disneyland Paris and also one that's at my home town. I'm not very good at heights as a rule but I felt totally secure the whole time and the views are really fantastic.

I'm hoping to do this one when we go in December.

Very impressive photo's on that link.
We are planning on going to DTD the evening we arrive. If it is open at night it might make a nice start to our holiday - especially for the newbies that we are taking with us.

We enjoyed this at DLP so will add this to the to do list if time allows :goodvibes

Would be interesting to compare the differences in Disney Village which looks much smaller than Downtown Disney :thumbsup2

Tony, we walked past it on Saturday and it said it goes up to 400ft, but wasn't up that day because of the weather, don't know what was wrong with the weather, it was a lovely day, mid 80s little wind. We have seen it up though in the last couple of weeks because you can see it from the I4 when you are driving. Only $16 which I thought was pretty good. Probably well worth it if you get the chance.
