Characters in Flight Balloon

Hi!

Can anyone tell me how late the Characters in Flight is open? We're planning on going to DTD in June after checking into the resort and would love to do this. We probably won't get to DTD until after 6:30, so wasn't sure if it'd still be open.

The WDW site says 8:30am until 12 midnight. Word of caution most times it's closed due to "high winds" we bought a Groupon and have tried to ride it 3 times and it was down.

We had the same thing happen at Spring Break. Fortunately, we called Groupon and they refunded our payment, so we repurchased for an upcoming trip.

You could be good depending on the weather/winds We ended up making it on New Year's Eve this year (probably around 8pm or so?) but earlier it had been closed due to high winds. We happened to walk by as they were taking it on a test "flight" so we started a line to see if they were opening... and they were. It was a lot of fun!
