Characters-In-Flight Attraction

It generated a lot of buzz when it first opened.

Those who rode it, liked it.

Discussions on the balloon ride then dried up pretty quickly.

I think it is worth the cost once...probably wouldn't do it again though (although i was kind of scared about the height once i got up there).

I am planning on letting my MIL and DH ride this while we are there in Aug/Sept. I am deathly afraid of heights so I will watch from the ground. I heard some good things about it.

We're hoping to try it on our upcoming trip. I don't expect it's something we'll repeat on each visit, but I do think it will be enjoyable to try once.

My kids all want to try it so we are doing it when we go in a few weeks. I am surprised that my DD 13 does (she is the one most excited) since she is not a rollercoaster fan, but we are going with it!

I do think it is something that will be a one time thing--or at least not an every trip thing.

I was most anxious to ride the balloon during our June trip. Due to our schedule there were only 2 afternoons that we could try it. It was closed down on both days. The first day was slightly breezy but the 2nd time we tried to go the weather was perfect but still no go.
On the DME bus the driver jokingly mentioned that it is down more than it is up. We were staying at SSR so we could see it easily and it didn't see to be in operation very often.
Going back in Sept - hope to try it then.
I know some people who went and they thought it was great fun.
