Characters in Flight at DTD

Anyone done this? Was it worth the money? Did you have to buy tix in advance or could you just walk up and do it?

We did it last March and it was pretty cool. You could see parts of all the parks and some of the resorts when in the air. We got some nice photos The whole thing took about 15 minutes.

We just walked up without a problem. We tried to do it the summer before, but there were thunderstorms every afternoon, and they won't go up if there is any sort of breeze.

I don't remember how much it cost, but it was kind of pricey. It was fun to do once, but I wouldn't do it again. Hope that helps.

We've tried to go during our last several trips, but it's been too windy at altitude. We have learned to call ahead instead of making a trip to DTD only to discover it isn't operating. Crossing our fingers we'll be able to try it out next week.
