Characters in/around Inventions

Hi all
Does anyone know if characters are in/around Inventions during dining in the evening? I know they're around for breakfast and lunch but theres little mention of any character interaction in the evening.

I'm sure I've read on here that Mickey was on hand to deliver a birthday cake or similar....?

yes, Inventions is a character meal every evening, from 6pm onwards .

Generally, the characters are only in Inventions for dinner. At breakfast they are outside the restuarants and there are no characters there for lunch (except on a Sunday for the weekly brunch).

You can buy a birthday cake for 25Euros and it will normally be brought to the table by one or more the characters while everyone sings Happy Birthday!
