Characters dining going from 1 credit to 2 credits?

Someone else posted this too, but if you look on the details of each of these three, they are listed as a part of the Disney Dining on Thanksgiving Day event. If you try and book on Thanksgiving Day, the entitlement is 2 credits, if you try a different day its only one!

That would make sense. I could see them doing "tiered" pricing for specific days (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, Easter,....) on specific restaurants, not just character ones.

I'm not too worried about the change though, b/c if they do make some of these 2 credits I'll just switch to paying OOP and use the DDP credits for something with better value.

EDIT: My friend called Disney (the TA line) and they confirmed the change. (Don't shoot the messenger.)

What all restaurants appear to be affected and whether they are breakfast/lunch/dinner? Looks like Akershus breakfast is still just 1 credit, thank goodness I went with breakfast for both days at Epcot in Aug/Sept.

how can you see if it is using 2 credits now We book in April for Oct 28 - nov 5 and did our 180 days in may ?? so which restaurants ?? and will they stay 1 for when we our down there

I just checked to make a reservation at Askershus and I looked under dining plans accepted and they are all back to 1

So....is this officially true? I have Chef Mickeys and Akershus in Sept - both both breakfast....so, I think I'm OK. Still absolutely ridiculous!

All of those meals are showing as being back to a 1 credit meal again.

As I said earlier in this post....Cast members can be very unreliable for accurate information. Apparently, even the ones the TA's deal with.

It would have sucked big time.

I am shocked with the hotel prices for 2017... We don't need any more price (or DDP tickets) changes.
