I was told by someone today, that they had a freind who took the Disney Cruise last month, and their childrens highlight of the cruise was the night that the characters came to the room and tunked them in bed. Does anyone know anything about this?
you know, I read this too the other day and I've heard from other cruisers that for a fee a Disney character will come and tuck your children into bed. I believe it's not widely known though.
If anyone has the details; feel free to elaborate!
I would like to know.
I've never heard of this but I would love to hear more about it. It would be a special treat for my kids on the last night of the cruise! Someone out there must know!!!
The characters do not go into any guest staterooms and do not do 'tuck-ins'.
I think your friends may be speaking of the final farewell that is done in the Atrium. A lot of the characters/show performers come out and say their goodbyes. Kind of like a 'till we meet again. I think it is called 'Til we meet again. This is the last time for photos and sometimes last minute autographes - so it may be the last thing in the child's mind when they get off the ship.
Perhaps they are referring to the characters possibly visiting in the kids clubs at night? I know they do not provide any service for characters visiting the staterooms, just as they do not at the Disney Resorts either. Sounds like fun though!
