Characters at World Showcase

We've seen . . .

UK - Alice in front of the garden entrance.
UK - Pooh and Friends in the toy store (very back)
UK - Alice in the toy store

Morocco - Jasmine, Alladin & Genie (outskirts near the water)

International Gateway - Dale (Where was Chip?????????)

That's it! Are all the other characters hiding? The only reason we saw Pooh and Alice in the toy store was by chance. The kids wanted to browse the store and then we saw a line in the back. Are most characters further into the country and not on the outskirts? We have NEVER seen Snow White. That is a MUST for our upcoming trip. Poor DD5 has yet to "meet' a Princess. So, where is Snow White and Dopey in Germany?

If touring the WS clockwise, mexico-canada, snow white & dopey will be on your left before Germany in front these gates that lead to the backside of the WS (employee entrance). i have never seen her in the Germany courtyard or stores - she's actually outside of the pavilion area before you get to Germany.

Marie and Abu MUST be new character costumes! I've been to Disney so many times and have never ever seen them!!! Marie is so cute!!! I want to see her!!

Abu isn't that new (he's been coming out for a couple of years now). But Marie has only been out for less then a year (about 8 months).

Just to make sure we see Snow White in April, I called WDW today and made reservations for Akershus Banquet. I've heard horrible things about the lunch menu. But, that is all that was available (breakfast was booked ). Has anyone had a POSITIVE lunch at Akershus?

I love the Marie picture. DD5 has a "Pirate Marie" doll. She watched Aristocats over and over again when we first got it a few years back. She wants a cat so badly. I blame that movie. Just kidding. I hope we can find her too.

Snow White and Dopey usually appear on the left-hand side of Germany - not exactly in the country, but pretty much out in the open.

We've also seen "Jane" from the Tarzan movie right when you come through the IG. She was very funny - really stayed in character.

We had lunch at Akershus back in October 2006 and loved it! Just remember the appetisers are buffet style, you'll have a choice of entree and the desserts are served family style to the table.

We have seen Snow White and Dopey in Germany many times, but have also met them on the bridge near Canada, between WS and Future World. We are hoping to meet Marie and Mushu on our next visit (in May).

Hey! It's a "Hidden Mickey".

It really does look like he's hiding in the bushes. I haven't heard of a Mickey siting in the World Showcase in years. When was this photo taken? He seems to be "stuck" at the Character Spot in Epcot (and Garden Grill). Personally, I like the outside photos of the characters better than the inside meet 'n greets. The coloring inside is always off on my camera because of the backdrops.

Thank you! I am "hoping" Snow White is at the meal. If not, we'll go on a search for her in Germany. I'll make sure to ask a CM when and where she'll be that day. I am afraid if we wait in the line at the MK tents in ToonTown, she won't get the Princesses she wants to see. The lunch will be a good start.

Thank you for the positive review. I wasn't planning on going for the food. I know that character meals are NOT for the food but for the character interaction. But, I wanted to make sure we didn't leave "starving" after forking over the $$$$$ for lunch.

I haven't heard of a Mickey siting in the World Showcase in years.

It was in 2004 (I think). Actually, he does show up nightly at the tree lighting at Christmas time, but there's no interaction.
