Characters at Stormalong Bay

I believe that characters come around Stormalong Bay periodically - would anyone know if that is on a schedule?

I see lots of Instagram posts with characters at Stormalong Bay. Too many to think it’s just a once off thing. I suspect it’s an intermittent schedule.

Characters at the pool itself? Never seen that in multiple stays at Yacht & Beach Club. Cape May Cafe is a character dining spot inside Beach Club & the characters wear beach gear. Maybe that's what you've seen.

In the last 2 years of our stays they have visited the pool quite frequently with the activities staff. They are near the volleyball net and play games. They were there just about daily. We last visited in July 2019 and October 2019.

Wow! We've been so many times and always swim, and have never encountered that. Good to know. Sorry OP.

Could be an "on again off again" unadvertised type thing.

In the Summer of 2018,the "Character Caravan" was coming regularly to the All-Star Resort.

Haven't seen it come back or heard of it coming back since then.

If it is a regular scheduled thing at SAB,they do not list it on the Guide.

When I stayed at YC, I never saw characters. Last summer, I stayed at the Contemporary and saw Chip and Dale at the pool. They were by the splash pad near the tower. Maybe characters visiting the deluxes is becoming more common? I love characters and hope we see some at AKL in April!

We have seen characters! Donald came and played games with the kids on the pool deck!

But I don’t think it’s a schedule, I know sometimes after cape May breakfast ends they do a loop. And say hi!

Wow, we've been to that pool 100 times over the last 10 years, have never seen a character.

We’ve stayed a few times And have seen them. In fact Donald and Daisy walked out my grandchildren one day! We usually are back the pool around 1 on summer trips. I will say tho when we go in fall/winter months we haven’t seen them. But then again we aren’t always in the pool or there as often

My family has stayed at YC the last 4 years and we spend a lot of time at SAB. We see them at least one time every trip and its always around 1230-1pm. I was told by the lifeguard that they often visit the pool or volleyball court area after they finish their shift at Cape May Character Breakfast.
