Characters at Inventions

Hi guys,

We have made our reservations for our trip in December which includes a 9pm sitting at Inventions on the Thursday night. Has anyone eaten there at that time? If so will the characters still be out and about?

Also, what do you think to our reservations of

Monday - Buffalo's (first sitting)
Tuesday - Hunters Grill (9pm)
Wednesday - Rainforest Cafe (9pm)
Thursday - Inventions (9pm)
Friday - Plaza Gardens (2pm)

We've chosen 9pm so we can still see Dreams each night and get to the reservations in time

Never eaten there that late myself but I'm certain they're there until 10pm at least. Great choices for your other meals too.

But not all characters may be there all night. Last summer Rapunzel was in the restaurant but only made one round and left. We only saw her when coming in, she never made it to our table.

Is there usually a lot of character appearances at Inventions? I'm on the HB+ plan so I know it'll cost more to eat there but wondering if the extra cost is worth it?
I'll have a 10year old girl with me who is desperate to meet the princesses but she wouldn't eat the food at Auberge. Does anyone know whether princesses make an appearance at Inventions?

Unless it is one of the princess theamed Sunday brunches, the princess are very rarely in Inventions. We eat there several times a year as we like the food and atmosphere. We usually see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Chip and Dale, Eeyore and Tigger. We have seen some of the less well known characters in there too, but it is usually the classic Disney characters.

Thank you for the reply. We've got a character breakfast booked so I'd imagine we'll see most of those characters at that. We'll stick with Plaza Gardens then I think and see if we can get into the princess pavilion instead

Personally I think a 9 pm sit down will leave you little, if any time to see dreams. I am booked for 9 pm on Christmas day at cafe mickey and the feedback seems to be I won't have the time to see it. So much so I am thinking of cancelling and going elsewhere at an earlier time.

Ye plenty dreams is only on for about 20minutes I think. And it won't take long to get to inventions, the most time will probably trying to get through the crowds in main st. So to avoid that go through one of the arcades instead.

My apologies, I must have missed where you said your dates. Yes if you are there before the 19th it does indeed shut at 8pm. After the 19th it's 10pm
