Characters at Epcot

We were talking about all the characters that we might see at Epcot and wondering if there are characters at each county. For instance, in England we might be Winnie the Pooh or Mary Poppins. Who might we see in Italy, Japan and Norway?

You will see no characters in Italy, Japan and Norway. or Canada.

When the renovations are done to Norway Anna and Elsa are supposed to return.
Italy used to have Pinocchio and Gepetto.

During the Holidays however, each country will have a Storyteller describing their traditions.

It is a good place to see some of the characters because the lines are solo much shorter than at MK. However, they are fewer in the WS than I had hoped for my kiddies.

We took pictures with Mulan over by the Land last summer.

We have met recently in 2015:
- England .. Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and in Christopher Robin's bedroom, Pooh & Tigger
- France .. Aurora, Marie and I think Belle might still be there
- Morocco .. Aladdin and Jasmine
- Germany .. Snow White
- China .. Mulan
- Mexico .. Caballero Donald Duck

Others were Duffy, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Chip, Dale

We took pictures with Mulan over by the Land last summer.

There's a small training area off to the side of Imagination and the Land where new characters (as in, people new to BEING characters) are sometimes hidden away for public greets before they get placed in the busier traditional greet locations.

Anyhow, that may be what you encountered.

It's worth keeping an eye out, but you won't find it all that often.

But, here's who REALLY should be there!

We've also encountered Mushu in China. If you book a meal at Akeshurs in Norway you can expect several different Princesses: Ariel (in princess dress), Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, Belle, and maybe some others from time to time. This was our FAVORITE encounter with Alice (in England) and we've also met Beast in France; although he may not be appearing as frequently since he has his own restaurant now.

Then of course there are always characters at the Character Spot.
