Characters at Cosmic Dance Party?

Ugh it's still there!? They had it sectioned off and closed during part of our May trip, so I was hoping they were closing it for good.

What's the point w/o characters? Dancing? That's cool...but I can do that anywhere. Just ask the CC cameras in my grocery store!

Without characters it is one of the most incredibly lame things at Disney World. I try to look away as I ride TTA or walk through the area
