When the characters wander the World at Christmas time, are they dressed as they always are or do they have "Christmasie" clothes on? princess:

Yes and No... we always go during December and the characters will have on Christmas themed clothing- hats, scarves etc. But sometimes they will just have on the regular stuff. If you go to meet Mickey in his tent he will have on the Normal mickey stuff, but if you meet him out in the park he will probably have on Christmas attire. The characters at meals have the normal stuff on. Last year we met Goofy wearing about 6 differnt costumes. You never know. If you sre trying to match for photos then the christmas costumes are all RED and GREEN. Good Luck! pirate:

We were there early Dec. last year. In the meet and greet section at Animal Kingdom (near the Lion King) both Mickey and Minnie had on their Christmas outfits, along with hats and scarves. It was very cute.

We were there during the week before Christmas and Christmas day. As far as I remember all the characters had some sort of Christmas outfits/accessories on. Maybe Chef Mickeys was the only place I don't remember them dressed up? All the characters looked great!

Nothing beats all the cute characters dressed for Christmas. One of the best is Cidnerella at 1900 Park Faire on Christmas Eve. It is the Only tie that Cindy changes her dress. She is dressed in a special Christmas dress. Very pretty.
When I first saw it, I did not think much of it, however when I was booking my ressie for Christmas eve, the CM was very excited and said "Oh Goodie!! You will be able to see Princess Cinderella in her Christmas Dress." I think he was more excited than I was. Now that is Excitement!!!

Where did you see Pluto? (MK, EP..) That sounds TOO CUTE!

We went the first week in December last year..and they were all ready for Xmas. Most characters had xmas attire on..such as Mickey, Minnie, pooh and friends, umm..goofy, but the princess' had regular costumes on. It is so beautiful around the holidays at WDW, you are going to have a great time! Everyone raved about Osborne lights before we went last year and we weren't going to catch it b/c we are from NY we have seen lights and snow before..but it was BEAUTIFUL! I would go back again just for that. What an atmosphere!!!! GOod luck and have a safe trip!

He is the cutest with his "Rudolph" costume! I can't wait to get the holiday outfits this year....

Here's a group shot from MGM - DD was not "into" the characters last year, so she would not stand in line for any of these... we were with family, so I just took this shot in between families!

Do you think the Characters in Christmas attire will be out around Nov. 18th thru the 24th?
If they're not, then I'm gonna miss out on what I really wanted to see.
In my opinion they should start wearing their holiday attire around November 13th because thats when The Osborne Lights starts, and MVMCP, and other holiday stuff starts at WDW.
I've heard different things on this topic.
Any more advice?
