Character wake-up calls?

I think I remember hearing you can have this done...anyone have any info on this? How much does it cost? How do I go about getting one set up?

Its called "Disney's enchanted call". Pick a character, an event, pop in your phone number, the time of day to call, who the call is from, and use your credit card to pay for it. Its only $2.49 a call.

Ive have used this every time we have gone on a Disney Trip. Ive sent it to who has never been before and its been a magical start to their morning. They still talk about it to this day. I have a friend who is leaving in 2 weeks for her first time to DL and I have one set up for her. And my brother is coming with me for the first time in June and I have one set up for him. Its incredible.

I use Mickey because he is just so "Old Disney" everyone knows and loves the mouse.

We have done two of the calls for our daughter. One the night before leaving for DL from Sleeping Beauty and Christmas morning from Mickey Mouse. To see her eyes light up is worth the small cost.

Does anyone know how long it would take to get the call.... like if i set it up for an hour later would it work? Cause i sawthe congrats thing and it would be awsome to get mickey to call the boys the day i have the new baby! But you can't really do that ahead of time lol

It looks like it would! It has a "call now" option, so you could always do that.

Ariel's calling DD right b4 we take off on our flight to DL! Mickey's calling DS to wish him Happy Birthday right as we arrive at our hotel!

does anyone know if the phone call can go to voice mail? if we were to miss the call will it go to voice mail? or do you have to press 1 or something to activate it?

You have to press 1 to activate it.

Yes they do. The phone rings in the room and when you answer there is a trumpet blowing and a "wake up" from Mickey. It is free for hotel guests.

My son got his call this morning from Mickey and the expression was soooooo worth it. I am so thankful to you guys for this, his face lit up at the recognition of Mickey. I also sent one to a friends child and seeing her face when the call come in was worth it. Thank you everyone for these postings, you make the journey that much more memorable.

THANK YOU! I was kind of bummed cause I thought the only way to get our kids calls was to go through the disney travel site! We found a great deal on our room through DH work so I am planning the whole trip. Finding this info made my week!

Wanted to "second" the previous poster who said yes, they do have the wakeup calls. Or at least they did in mid-September! Even got a picture of my bleary-eyed son getting his very first phone call.
