Character Wake up Calls / Speaker phone

Can the resort room phones (especially at POR) be put on speaker phone? I would like for all of my kids to be able to hear the character wake up calls. Or do you just have to let a different kid answer the phone each morning?

I used a speaker phone at ASMo.

Yes you can answer with the speaker phone. I did at POFQ with no problems the 1st week of September. But be aware it takes a few seconds for the recording to come on, the first time I thought that there was no one there. But I held on a few seconds and it began.
