Has anybody stayed in the CHaracter themed rooms that can be adjoinin regular rooms? I saw a photo of the Princess room with 2 twin beds and thought it was soooo cute! My DD is way too young for these rooms, but I hope they still have them around when she is younger!!princess: :flower3:

I've been wanting to ask this same question! They look adorable. I am under the inpression these are for suites. I would consider this for next year if the grandparents come w/ us.

I think maybe you are right about the suites, it does not specify. I read that they have a princess theme and MIckey theme. I think it is a great idea!

I think that they are just rooms that you can pay for. They are quite a bit more expensive then regular rooms. I can't remember if they are two connected rooms or just one.

well, according to the dis site they are connecting rooms, but I imagine they probably are pretty pricey! Yikes. Bet the children that stay in them love the experience. I would if i were a kid. Oh, who am I foolin ? I am a big kid!!!:rotfl:

okay so I was looking at the reviews on tripadvisor and saw that one post mentioned being upgraded from a regal suite to a character themed suite. She said they chose the Mickey theme and it cost her $650.00 a night , but was perfect for 34 adults with 2 children. Expensive!!!

I'm hoping its 3-4 haha :)

I looked at the link and it didn't show the mickey one. Anyone know where I can see that ?

Ok, I'm going to Save you Mega Bucks!!!!!!

Go to the local party store find the Disney section. Ask for the Wall Covering.
Our's was Sleeping Beauty with the lower castle wall with its features.
Pack it with painter blue tape. In your hotel tape it up at cealing height oppisate the beds. Now you have your own special disney room! For low bucks!!

omg those rooms look adorable!!!! i would looooove to stay in the princess room!!!! maybe for my sons 2nd bday we can stay in the mickey rooms!! thanks for link and for letting us know about this:goodvibes

I'm wondering if these are the rooms we stayed in in 2007. We had booked interconnecting rooms, and on check in they offered us one of three themes they said they were trialling - mickey, winnie the pooh and princesses.

We chose Mickey -very cute, but not really adult material - a regular room with a mickey room attached with twin beds, a mickey shaped tv, bedside lamp, wall paper etc.

Kids really enjoyed it and I htink it is a great idea - for I think theming is pretty light in all the Dl hotels, and I wondered why they didn't make more of it.

I am dying to know what they look like. I think that would be so exciting for kids. You are quite welcome for the info!

how cool! They must have decided against the Winnie the Pooh rooms. I,too, have always wondered why Disney does not theme their resort rooms more than they do. It can never be too much Disney for me!!::MinnieMo
