Character swap ?s

Hi girls,
I need opinions and ideas please. I choose Chip and Dale borders and tags. I was wondering since its a character swap are you all putting the character on your pieces or just making them fit a theme of that character? Does that make sense?

Like Snow White would be apples?

Or would you put snow white on the actual border.

I have to make 48 of each tags and borders and am sort of freaking out thinking that may have to cut out 96 chipmunks.....lol! Was considering acorns, chocalate chip cookies, or smores (campfire theme) Let me know what you girls think.

I'm making tags too, and I'm going with a theme that fits the character. I LOVE your idea about the acorns, choc. chip cookies and campfire theme. We always try to get a pic of them at the campfire program at FW.

I'm kind of mixing it up....24 with the character & 24 with something from the theme. I think it would be more versatile that way. That way if someone has no pix of your character, they could still use some of the elements in other LOs. Or if they're like me & have never been to the campfire program, they could use the campfire themed items in other LOs.

Also, I probably wouldn't cut out both Chip & Dale for each border & each tag. I'd probably do something like: Chip on a border & acorns on the other and then Dale on a tag with the campfire theme on the other. KWIM?

I know what you mean, I'm doing stitch as a pp and then squares.... the squares are not going to have stitch on them. I was thinking more along the lines of surfboards, flowers, etc... haven't quite decided yet. maggie

Love the idea of Chip on the border and dale on the tag or vice/versa. I was feeling overwhelmed and this helped alot. Didn't want anyone to be dissapointed the characters werent present on each piece.

Off to doodle out some ideas.

We leave for Florida on the 23rd, return the 3rd of April so I need my ideas in place before we leave. Maybe I can cut out some stuff in the car....hmmmmmmmm.

I'm all for the association thing because I agree its soo much easier- Its also nice that all characters have *something* thats easily relatable whether its color, obecjts or words
