On the paper doll cart - PG58 - is a big top. If you use the polka dot paper for the top & sides, a solid color for the inside and contrasting solid color for the frill & flags - you have a very cool journal box. Not sure if you would need another layer or not, but you could always put it on a sky blue rectangle if necessary.
Then use the the same colors to make photo mats. Use the umbrella & pin (juggling) (with the ribbon) as the extra accent pieces on them.

Here are the step sisters. The tags are double sided and will slide into the mats if you want.

And this is for Gideon & Foulfellow. Snapfish prints the digital photos smaller than 4x6. Sorry for the weird looking mat that causes.
The colors match the photo really well. They are inked, extra layer, sewed (hand) and brads/eyelets in the mats. The quote is supposed to look like the patches they have on their clothes.

I have printed all my pages for my two paper piecings I'm being ambitious about (I had fun doing the one I did by hand for the flock so what the heck). I have a general plan for the rest. I haven't actually worked on them more than that but tomorrow looks like a good day to start.

No, that's right on the cart - -whichever one Jasmine is on. I cut the base in green, but cut off the flower part and just kept the leaves & name part, shift base in purple and shadow in white-ish.

I finished the rest of group A/A1 last night and finished designs for 5 of my 6 remaining groups. Purchased more stuff today.

I know what you mean - everytime I do a paper piecing I SWEAR it will be the last time!

So are the claws the worst?
