Character sightings

I know there are no character greetings/autograph sessions right now, but what about character sightings? Are any of the characters just out and about, walking around with handlers?

All the characters I've seen over 3 post-covid trips are either in a cavalcade - or they are hanging around some place that has physical barriers, most likely to keep over-enthusiastic littles from running up to hug them.

You can take distanced selfies fairly easily with the ones that aren't in the cavalcades

So think: raised platforms

• Train Station at MK - which rotates princesses, Mickey and Friends, Dapper Dans, etc.
• Rooftop in Frontierland (Chip & Dale, Country Bears)
• Stage in Tomorrowland (Buzz, Stitch)
• on top of Hyperion (Frozen Show) in Hollywood Studios

Or behind a physical barrier (fence and/or plants)

• Joy / Pooh in Future World
• Alice / Mary Poppins in Gardens in UK (see below)
• Chip & Dale outside Brown Derby
• Donald along Hollywood Blvd

There are loads of character sightings in the park, but they are all beyond reach. You won't see them walking around at all. At EPCOT, they'll have characters out on the grass beyond a fence, but you can see them frolicking and playing.

At Animal Kingdom, they ride around on boats. Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom have "Cavalcades" with characters riding in cars. And you can see characters waving from rooftops at many locations in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

The characters are still present, but you can't get close to them.

In addition to other spottings already mentioned, we've seen Country Bears and Stepsisters several times in MK. Recently, they are setting up a socially distanced way for people to interact with the sisters (it's not a line but there is a CM guiding people who want to talk to them).

In early-mid November, I was shocked to see Jiminy Cricket! (Above Pinnochio Village Haus) I'm guessing that is not the norm though. But still, you never know

I know Pooh is out there at Epcot catching butterflies, but I have yet to spot him ... boo.

Jiminy Cricket was out in November/December for Christmas Season
They have added some new sightings for the fab 5 recently (in Epcot Mickey/minnie/goofy/Pluto rotate by the entrance & at studios chip & Dale, Donald, and the rotation of goofy/Pluto above the frozen theater)
I know some different “rare” characters are said to be joining the flotillas at animal kingdom for earth month
