I was looking for Launchpad when I was at Disney and I went to guest services everyday to find out if he would be out or not. So you could check with guest services to find a character if you are looking for a certain one.

When my friend was there about a year ago, her son was looking for Daisy Duck. She went to Guest Services each day & asked & was finally successful in finding Daisy. So I would try Guest Services in each park when you enter.

if you go to PS Calculator website, they have a character spreadsheet you can download that shows you where you can find the characters in WDW. it is made by the rustyscupper and it is great. you can click on this link

If you would like to know where each character might be able to be found, try www.Intercot.com there is a link on the main homepage about the characters and there is a list of where each character might be located. If you want to find a particular one expecially I would also go the guest relations route or if you ask a cast member at another character stop they can usually make a call and find out for you!

Be forewarned about guest relations. I had an extended conversation with a CM recently who told me that MK guest relations is really excellent about this, but at the other 3 parks, they don't have nearly as much information. He was making the point that when you're in EPCOT (for example) and the CM tells you they don't know when/where a character will be, they aren't being rude or unhelpful...... they really don't know and aren't set up to be able to reliably find out.

That said, many characters have fairly regular appearance places/times. Characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pooh and friends, Goofy, Chip and Dale, princesses, etc.... are pretty easy to find. If you stumble across a rarer character, it's a bit of extra pixie dust.

1) Go to ANY guests services or resort concierge desk.
2) Ask them to call the "CHIPS" hotline.
3) The hotline can tell you where ANY character is that day.
4) The call can be made any time AFTER 9:30am.

NOTE: Although they will tell you about any character, they will not go through the whole list for any given park or area. (Example: They will tell you where Goofy is that day and the times, but they will not say who all the characters at MK are that day.)
