Character Quarters

Has anyone ever stayed in a character quarters room? Does anyone know where they are located in the Disneyland hotel? Would be interested to know more, especially if someone has spent time in one. I cannot decide if I should go there or for a little more to the GC asking for a room near the lobby! DEcisions, decisions!

I just got back last night. This is the first time I have had to check DIS. There was a trip report not too long ago that mentioned the character quarters. We were upgraded to the Mickey character quarters the last two nights of our stay. It is basically 2 adjoining rooms. Ours was on the 3rd floor of the Dreams tower. The room that you enter is just a normal room with 2 queen beds. The second room is outfitted to the nines with Mickey. It has 2 twin beds with Mickey comforters and Mickey on just about every surface.

Okay now I am all confused again and I am making a booking tomorrow! I used the search function but putting in character quarters only brought up characters or quarter not both Looking at those rooms....the kids would LOVE it but DCA? Hmmm depends on the room really and teh fact that we have NEVER tried DCA. Although our experience with DL hotel has always been good. Hmmmmmmmm.
