That would be the norm, but the protocols for masks are still in place if there is an issue.

@Cheburashka Not funny. Ask the folks on the Rotterdam right now. 14 day transatlantic cruise and when they arrived to get on the ship to find out ALL protocols are back in full force on their cruise.

For what its worth, on the cruise critic boards, the people on the ship now said the Capitan changed it to masks recommended today

Apparently the president of the company is on the cruise also so might have added to it.

But to answer the OP question, no masks are required on the ship.

Yes, the mask requirement was changed today to a recommendation. But the point is, things change from day to day and there is no 100% guarantee what protocols will be on any given day. Just the nature of cruising in 2022.
