I'm currently working as a character performer for my CP. I have a few questions and when I mentioned them to my roommate she told here was probably the best place to ask. Hope these weren't asked before!
So my questions are:

1. How hard is it to get approved to play other fur characters in your height range?

2. I know that we can preference roles we'd like to be in, but how often do they actually look at our preferences and how often do people get what they chose?

3.And last, how hard is it to get approved to play another face character, if you're already approved for one? One of my managers was saying that I might be able to be another character, but that I'd have to be approved first. So I was wondering how one would go about that? Or do I just wait and casting decides themselves?

I know these are questions I should probably be asking my manager, but I'd rather be a little more informed myself from hearing what others have to say in regards to it all. Thank you :D

Sorry for the late response but I do! I will be working in Epcot on Thursday and Friday this week.

Disney height can be very different from your real height- when I went to auditions I was measured about an inch and a half off from where I actually am. And if I remember correctly they're more so height classes than heights, with leeway of an inch, maybe two at the most. It all depends on what they measure you at.

Also, I would take friends' advice with a grain of salt. Sometimes, Disney casting directors' opinions can vary GREATLY from those of whom you know and love- and it's up to the casting directors and they don't all have the same perceptions of people.
